The Odyssey looks even more attractive, as it features a revised front grille and improved LED graphics. Aside from that, the profile is also attractive, and the EX-L is available with 18-inch wheels. However, that can be changed with the Elite model which rolls standard on 19-inch wheels. In addition to these changes, Honda also had to add another color to its color palette, Radiant Red Metallic II.

2024 Honda Odyssey Interior Rumors

Depending on the trim level, the cabin quality of the 2024 Honda Odyssey should range from standard to luxurious. However, all modes offer the same seven-seat arrangement, while eight are available at the top. With the exception of the base LX model, this minivan comes standard with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system called Display Audio.

In general, the program is very responsive, which allows to customize the layout of the menu. The price of the Odyssey is in line with direct competitors such as the Chrysler Pacifica and the new Toyota Sienna. However, the Kia Sedona starts at less than $30,000 and is by far the best option after the Honda Odyssey.

2024 Honda Odyssey Rumor

The Honda Odyssey will likely be restyled in 2024. However, Honda hasn’t officially announced the next generation of the Odyssey, and initial reports consisted mostly of speculation. Based on information from the industry publication, Automotive News, a Honda Odyssey redesign may be on the cards for 2024.

The current Honda Odyssey was introduced for 2018 and has seen only minor updates since then. While we think the prospect of a 2024 Odyssey redesign may be based solely on the assumption of a five-year Odyssey generation, this model may be a new option in the midst of the shrinking minivan field.

Recently, Toyota converted the Sienna family carrier into a hybrid only. In the case of the Chrysler Pacifica, buyers can choose a gasoline engine or opt for the industry’s first plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) pickup. Meanwhile, the new Kia Carnival continues to be a high-end alternative with the latest technology.

For 2024, Honda discontinued production of the Odyssey LX, increasing the price to $38,635. While there’s new mid-road sport trim, it’s outfitted in the same way as the EX-L and features a glossy black grille, matching exterior trim, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Honda also includes two years of free maintenance.

Will the next generation Odyssey offer a hybrid option or even a plug-in? That remained to be a sight. Currently, the only Honda Hybrids you can buy are the Insight, Accord, and CR-V Hybrid. The current EPA fuel economy rating for the Odyssey minivan isn’t great at 22 mpg overall, compared to 36 mpg for the Toyota Sienna.

One area where the Odyssey lags behind is the lack of an all-wheel drive option in the harshest weather. In contrast, Sienna continues to offer FWD and AWD configurations. For now, we don’t know if the upcoming Odyssey will share the podium with the rumored 2024 Honda Pilot redesign expected this year.

Based on previous Odyssey sales dates, we estimate the 2024 Odyssey release date will be in the first half of 2024. However, we don’t yet know if the global chip shortage will affect or potentially delay the car’s launch. Look for updates as they become available.
