2024 Honda Odyssey Rumors Redesign Reviews
2024 Honda Odyssey. The upcoming Honda Odyssey, the next iteration of the carrier family, has been delayed until next year because to the coronavirus. The Honda Odyssey 2024 is the new model, and it will be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2022. Following a significant improvement last year, the Odyssey enters the new year with minimal tweaks.
First of all, the manufacturer will present a more attractive front end and a new color called Radiant Red Metallic II. Like the current version, the new Odyssey will come with the same 3.5-liter V6 engine. However, the Odyssey is not alone in the market, and competitors such as the Chrysler Pacifica and Toyota Sienna are the closest.
2024 Honda Odyssey Redesign
Honda Odyssey is one of the most attractive family minivans on the market. In general, this is the best-selling model in the United States. For 2024, Honda has made some small improvements that can be seen on the front end.
The Odyssey looks even more attractive, as it features a revised front grille and improved LED graphics. Aside from that, the profile is also attractive, and the EX-L is available with 18-inch wheels. However, that can be changed with the Elite model which rolls standard on 19-inch wheels. In addition to these changes, Honda also had to add another color to its color palette, Radiant Red Metallic II.
2024 Honda Odyssey Interior Rumors
Depending on the trim level, the cabin quality of the 2024 Honda Odyssey should range from standard to luxurious. However, all modes offer the same seven-seat arrangement, while eight are available at the top. With the exception of the base LX model, this minivan comes standard with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system called Display Audio.
In general, the program is very responsive, which allows to customize the layout of the menu. In addition, the new Odyssey also includes smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay, as well as Android Auto capabilities. In contrast to the entry-level trim, the Touring and Elite upper trim includes a rear-seat entertainment system with built-in streaming apps.
2024 Honda Odyssey Powertrain Specification
Like the current version, the 2024 Honda Odyssey will continue to use the same powertrain. Unfortunately, unlike many competitors, the Odyssey is available with a single engine. This minivan uses a 3.5-liter V6 engine that sends 280 horsepower to the front wheels via a 10-speed automatic transmission. It also comes standard with an automatic engine stop/start feature to disable the cylinder, which saves some fuel.
2024 Honda Odyssey Release Date And Price
The new 2024 Honda Odyssey will arrive in the first quarter of the following year. Aside from some minor exterior upgrades, the upcoming minivan should offer a more modern cabin. Prices start at $31,790 for the base LX model, while the EX and EX-L models cost $35,200 and $38,500, respectively. At the bottom is the $42,500 Honda Odyssey Touring, while the semi-luxury Honda Odyssey Elite starts at $47.820.
The price of the Odyssey is in line with direct competitors such as the Chrysler Pacifica and the new Toyota Sienna. However, the Kia Sedona starts at less than $30,000 and is by far the best option after the Honda Odyssey.

2024 Honda Odyssey Rumor
The Honda Odyssey will likely be restyled in 2024. However, Honda hasn’t officially announced the next generation of the Odyssey, and initial reports consisted mostly of speculation. Based on information from the industry publication, Automotive News, a Honda Odyssey redesign may be on the cards for 2024.
The current Honda Odyssey was introduced for 2018 and has seen only minor updates since then. While we think the prospect of a 2024 Odyssey redesign may be based solely on the assumption of a five-year Odyssey generation, this model may be a new option in the midst of the shrinking minivan field.
Recently, Toyota converted the Sienna family carrier into a hybrid only. In the case of the Chrysler Pacifica, buyers can choose a gasoline engine or opt for the industry’s first plug-in hybrid electric (PHEV) pickup. Meanwhile, the new Kia Carnival continues to be a high-end alternative with the latest technology.
For 2024, Honda discontinued production of the Odyssey LX, increasing the price to $38,635. While there’s new mid-road sport trim, it’s outfitted in the same way as the EX-L and features a glossy black grille, matching exterior trim, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Honda also includes two years of free maintenance.
Will the next generation Odyssey offer a hybrid option or even a plug-in? That remained to be a sight. Currently, the only Honda Hybrids you can buy are the Insight, Accord, and CR-V Hybrid. The current EPA fuel economy rating for the Odyssey minivan isn’t great at 22 mpg overall, compared to 36 mpg for the Toyota Sienna.
One area where the Odyssey lags behind is the lack of an all-wheel drive option in the harshest weather. In contrast, Sienna continues to offer FWD and AWD configurations. For now, we don’t know if the upcoming Odyssey will share the podium with the rumored 2024 Honda Pilot redesign expected this year.
Based on previous Odyssey sales dates, we estimate the 2024 Odyssey release date will be in the first half of 2024. However, we don’t yet know if the global chip shortage will affect or potentially delay the car’s launch. Look for updates as they become available.
