2024 Honda HRV Rumors Redesign Reviews
2024 Honda HRV. The upcoming Honda 2024 HRV becomes almost finished. The Japanese version has been accessible since February, and the new European edition has just been released. We are still waiting for the release in North America. It may be available in the first part of next year. We are excited to see the latest advancements on North American roadways.
We can see that the model has undergone significant changes. The most important element you will see is the pattern. It is cleaner than ever. We’ll also see a lot of new features in the mechanics, including new powertrain options. The proportions of the new standard will be very comparable to the previous standard. Although the European model is equipped with the new Hybrid system, we assume the American version will be available with the standard petrol.
2024 Honda HRV Redesign
The new model has many improvements and novelties from the previous version. The most striking change is in the design of the 2024 Honda HRV. It looks better than before. Honda has introduced a new design language, and things look cleaner than before. The dimensions of the new model are very similar, but the wheelbase is the same.
We’re expecting some new mechanisms, though details haven’t been revealed yet. While the current model is very good in this area, Honda will likely change the suspension.
The interior will witness the most significant changes. The new dashboard looks cleaner than before, as evidenced by the photos. It is not overly complicated or overly designed. Honda seems to have found the right place. It’s clean and well organized, with lots of tech accessories that make it even more beautiful.
2024 Honda HRV Interior Rumors
The new touch screen measures 9 inches, and the instrument panel has a 7-inch screen. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard features. However, optional options such as wireless charging pads, touch-screen cabin lights or premium audio systems with speakers will be available, however. We expect the same amount of cargo and passenger space, despite the fact that the overall dimensions will not change from the previous generation. This is great considering the fact that the current generation is a pioneer in this field.
2024 Honda HRV Powertrain Specification
The European version comes with a hybrid drive. This includes a 1.5 liter petrol engine as well as several electric motors. The exact number of electric motors combined would be 131 horsepower. We don’t know the exact number yet. Two electric motors will drive the wheels, while the gasoline engine will mostly be used as a generator. A full hybrid model that includes both power sources will also be available. We think this version may also be available in North America.
We believe this will not be the only option for power drives in the United States. Also, a pure gasoline version is possible, which will replace the 1.8-liter engine with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder from Civic. Most likely, CVT will be the only transmission available.
2024 Honda HRV Release Date And Price
The 2024 Honda HRV is expected to arrive in North America in the first half of next year. We don’t think the base model will be much more expensive than the current $22,500 model. This segment is very competitive.

2024 Honda HRV Update
To keep up with the influx of desirable and attractive small SUVs on the market, Honda has revived the 2024 HR-V with a stunning redesign that, judging by the teaser image, will look very different from the European version. While the previous generation was practical and inexpensive, the revamped car would need more traction and an attractive engine to compete with industry leaders such as Hyundai Kona, Kia Seltos and Mazda CX-30.
The human-powered four-cylinder V engines will remain, but their status, turbocharged or naturally aspirated, is unknown. Expect the second row of Magic Seats to maintain the style’s unparalleled versatility; It is also likely that the remodel will have a redesigned interior with new technologies.
Honda HRV Sport Redesign 2024
Despite the rumors circulating, the Honda HR-V 2024 retains its current exterior appearance that may resemble the new European-spec HR-V. The exterior design is comparable to the CR-V, with halogen headlights and LED taillights, chrome grille with Honda logo, as found on many Honda cars, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The Sport model is defined by its distinctive visual cues and is the only option that includes 18-inch matte black alloy wheels and a gloss black exterior frame for a sporty look. On the EX and EX-L trim levels, 18-inch alloy wheels are available as an option. External and additional packages are available for all trim levels.
The second generation HR-V is expected to have a more modern interior, possibly inspired by the newly restyled 2022 Civic. This approach will result in a classic and interesting interior for the HR-V. Previous models featured Honda’s unique Magic Seat, which flips and folds the rear seats to create a flat, shallow floor. Despite its modest size, this feature allows the compact HR-V to surpass the class in terms of cargo capacity.
All models will likely have a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standards. In the European version of the HR-V, the infotainment screen is prominently located in the center of the dashboard and appears larger than the 7.0-inch screen of the previous model. Optional options such as onboard Wi-Fi, SiriusXM radio and dashboard navigation are expected.
The Honda HR-V 2024 will be powered by a hybrid engine based on the Insight and Accord hybrid cars in Europe. However, Honda has not yet determined which engine will power the company’s smallest SUV in North America. The next generation Honda HR-V is expected to have a more powerful engine. This could be a 158-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine taken from the compact Civic or a 180-hp 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder from the Civic.
The previous HR-V didn’t have the quiet agility we’ve come to expect from Honda in recent years and a very fluid ride over the potholes, so we hope to improve there as well. As soon as we have a chance to ride the new HR-V, we’ll update this section with driving impressions and test results.
Honda HRV Sport 2024 Price And Release Date
The price of the 2024 HR-V V should remain fairly stable compared to the current model. Our recommendation for the EX will likely remain mid-range because we feel the trim provides the best value. As additional information becomes available regarding pricing, features, and options for the 2024 HR-V, we will update this post.

Completely different and you don’t get a hybrid powertrain option, at least at launch.
Different Styles For All Variants
There are three variants of the HR-V in the United States: the LX, Sport and EX-L. All of them have special design elements. The lower rear bumper is painted a metallic finish, and the Sport also gets exclusive Berlina Black 18-inch five-spoke wheels.

Aggressive Front End
All 2023 Honda HR-V models get a wide array of LED headlights with L-shaped DRLs, an extended bonnet with sharpened lines, and an air-curtain grille that funnels air through the bumper around the front wheels for aerodynamic benefits.
Compared to the world-class Honda HR-V, the North American HR-V’s headlights are more prominent but less ‘evil’, but the straighter hood and aggressive outer edges of the bumper give it a more authoritarian character. Windshield wipers remain hidden under the hood when not in use. Honda used “laser welding technology” to precisely mold the roof to eliminate uneven casting.
The Honda HR-V in North America looks different from the side profile. It looks more practical than its predecessors and European cousins, with larger rear windows. Another important change is the traditional tailgate handle instead of the global specification hidden unit, which may result from a cost-saving procedure.
The Back Element Confirms The Width
The new HR-V for the US and Canada has a familiar rear end with a sporty stance. The newly designed beak-style LED taillight looks contemporary, while the sharper edges of the tailgate and inverted portion of the license plate make it instantly recognizable. It also has a roof-mounted spoiler, shark fin antenna, and a black rear bumper.
Honda focuses on making the interior of the HR-V comfortable and simple. There is just as much attention to form and function. The interior is based on Honda’s “simplicity and thing” design language that first appeared on the Civic. In addition, the Japanese brand says that all gear switches are taken care of, including the click and weight of the knobs, knobs and switches.
The “body-mount seats” feature French stitching, while the rear seats are wider to make room for three passengers. Normally, accommodating three passengers in the rear would be difficult, but that may not be the case with the Honda HR-V. Cargo space is 24.4 cubic feet and lift height is just 27 inches making loading and unloading cargo a breeze. By folding the split seat 60:40, the cargo area can be expanded up to 55.1 cubic feet.
For the first time, the HR-V gets a fully digital instrument cluster. The unit is a standard 7-inch LCD, while the infotainment is a 7-inch touchscreen. The LX and Sport models get a larger 9-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The HR-V also features wireless charging, 8-speaker premium sound, and physical controls for simple functions like volume and touchscreen navigation in the home and back. Active noise cancellation isolates the cab from engine and outside noise.
Honda says the new HR-V shares the platform with the 11th-generation Civic. The SUV grew to 9.4 inches in length and 2.6 inches in width. This SUV measures 179.8 inches in length, 72.4 inches in width and 63.4 inches in height. The wheelbase is 104.5 inches. However, the unloaded ground clearance is 7.3 inches for the Sport and 7 inches for the other variants.
No Hybrid Drive For The United States
In terms of powertrain, the HR-V gets a gas non-hybrid engine. It’s a 2-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet. There are three driving modes: Eco, Normal and Sport, and power is sent to the wheels via the CVT. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is available.
In Europe, Honda sells the 2022 HR-V exclusively with the e:HEV hybrid system that combines a 1.5-liter i-VTEC gasoline engine and two electric motors – a traction motor and an alternator. The engine produces 79 kW (106 hp) and 131 Nm (97 lb-ft) of torque, and the traction engine generates 96 kW (129 hp) and 253 Nm (187 lb-ft) of torque.
HR-V FWD will deliver EPA-est. Fuel economy 26 mpg (city) / 32 mpg (highway) / 28 mpg (combined). The HR-V AWD will return EPA-est. Fuel economy 25 mpg (city) / 30 mpg (highway) / 27 mpg (combined).
The HR-V 2023, due to its larger size and larger, more powerful engine, is not as efficient as the HR-V 2022. The EPA-est was introduced. Fuel Economy 28 mpg (city) / 34 mpg (highway) / 30 mpg (combined) in the front-wheel drive variant and up to 27 mpg (city) / 31 mpg (highway) ) / 29 mpg (combined) in the all-wheel drive variant.

In addition, Toyota plans to release a hybrid version of Toyota. Corolla Cross, the new HR-V competitor, in the US in 2023. Honda could attract potential Corolla Cross Hybrid customers to its showrooms with the HR-V Hybrid.
