2023 VW T7 Update
Just a few days ago, Volkswagen teased one photo of its next generation Transporter, revealing its front end design. Today, we can share a new batch of spy photos with updated models and it looks like the full official debut is coming sooner rather than later.
Shown here are two prototypes of the T7 Multivan, the passenger version of the new bus. The Volkswagen smart camouflage strip in the front is almost useless at this point because we know it hides the LED light strip that connects the headlights. The underside of the bumper remains a mystery, and the black disguise does a good job of fooling the untrained eye.
If the new carrier sounds familiar to you, it’s probably because the design language is the same as the new Caddy. The similarities are not only visual as the T7 is in fact expected to be based on the MQB platform, which also supports smaller commercial vehicles. This engineering should bring a lot of Golf technology to the conveyor, including the hatchback’s dual-screen dashboard design.
For the cargo version, we expect the 2.0-liter TDI diesel to remain the top choice for most customers in Europe. The passenger variant could be more popular with the upcoming plug-in hybrid variant. 2023 VW T7 Rumor

Safety equipment follows other MQB-based models, providing city emergency braking, road signs and lane assistance, while the Multivan also features Car2X, a system that enables local communication with other vehicles and highway infrastructure to warn of potential delays and delays.
