2023 Mazda 6 the Reviews
Exciting news for folks, the new 2023 Mazda 6 is ready to use a more powerful platform, new engine design and rear-wheel drive for the first time. According to reports, the upcoming sedan will use Skyactiv-X compression-ignition-type gasoline technology connected to the 48-volt hybrid system. Thanks to hybrid technology, it should generate at least 350 horsepower.
The regular model starts at $25,270, while the Mazda 6 Signature tops the range at $36,695. Hyundai Sonata, Kia K5 and Subaru Legacy are cheaper models. However, Toyota Camry starts higher and also offers a hybrid variant.
2023 Mazda 6 Preview
The answer is yes. The new batch of designs is available and we have a pretty good idea of what this sedan will look like. First of all, the new model will borrow many elements from Mazda’s Vision Coupé concept. It features the same attractive Mazda design language and iconic KODO design.
The shapes, lines and proportions have a cohesive character, giving the impression of a distinct look. On the other hand, the manufacturer maintains the traditional look with an attractive grille and standard LED headlights. Interestingly, the new sedan has modified LED taillights and a dual exhaust system. In addition to the standard model, we can also expect a carbon version, with stylish 19-inch alloy wheels with a Metallic Black exterior and a Polymetal Gray exterior finish.

2023 Mazda 6 Best cabin in its class
Despite younger competitors, the 2023 Mazda 6 still offers one of the best-in-class interiors. This model is distinguished by an elegant design, exquisite materials, and a luxurious interior. The 38.7-inch rear legroom sounds good, but the 14.7 cubic feet of trunk space isn’t impressive.
The 8-inch display’s infotainment system appears to be outdated as many competitors offer much larger screens. Additionally, standard equipment includes dual-zone automatic climate control, leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic high beams, rain-sensing wipers, Bluetooth phone/audio, two USB ports, 6-speaker audio system, and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration / Android Auto.
2023 Mazda 6 powertrain specifications
The engine section will also undergo some changes. The base engine available on the Sport and Touring is a 2.5-liter/4-cylinder with 187 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. This unit is unusual for this class and comes with a cylinder deactivation function to save fuel. Fuel economy is 29 mpg with regular gasoline. Interestingly, the turbocharged 2.5-liter/4-cylinder engine producing 250 horsepower will be replaced by a new hybrid system.
From what we’ve heard, the 2023 Mazda 6 will feature Skyactiv-X petrol ignition technology and a 48-volt hybrid system. We expected this mix to produce 350 horsepower. Both engines will be offered in the only configuration with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
2023 Mazda 6 Release date and price
There is a good chance that the 2023 Mazda 6 will go on sale at the end of 2022. Other than the above, the new model will receive a number of changes. First of all, the upcoming sedan will run on the new platform and it will also have to implement a new hybrid system.
