2023 Honda Accord the Reviews
In the shrinking family sedan segment, there are still some great cars to choose from, but one of them stands out from the crowd in terms of impeccable driving dynamics, functional interior and value: 2023 Honda Accord. We were so impressed with the Accord. It’s almost always a staple on our annual Top 10 Top 10 list and it’s back there for 2023.
Buyers can choose from two turbocharged four-cylinder engines; Some hybrid models breathe fuel. Whatever the Accord’s engine is, the control is perfectly balanced, making winding road travel fun and long trips.
The 2023 Honda Accord offers generous luggage, making shopping fast and the rear seats spacious enough for two adults to cover long distances. The airy interior easily accommodates the many child seats for a growing family.
Honda Accord and Accord Hybrid models gave a light model of 2023 a revamp with a revised grille design, new optional headlights, new wheel designs and a new color: Sonic Pearl Gray. The cabin offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standards, which previously had an optional 8.0-inch display for information excitation as standard hardware and now offers wireless connectivity in the ex-L and Touring edges.
Honda moved a USB Accord port for easy access and also introduced Sport SE upholstery, a mixture of the now-contaminated EX flooring materials for sports flooring style. Honda says it has re-calibrated throttle response on all Accord models for better off-line performance;
The new Rear Seat Reminder function alerts the driver to check the rear seat when leaving the vehicle when one of the rear flight doors is open. Unfortunately, the 2023 Honda Accord is no longer available with a six-speed manual gearbox.
2023 Honda Accord News
This is the 2023 Honda Accord, and although it is called the prototype it gives us a good idea (think 99%) of what the production spec model will look like.
In creating the eleventh-generation Civic, Honda gave the sedan a low-key and spacious impression with a more refined and luxurious design than its predecessor. Honda said it will review the new Civic that will debut in America in the spring of 2023, first in sedan form and then followed by the Civic hatchback, Civic C and Civic Type R.
2023 Honda Accord redesign
The Japanese-styled sedan started with a low overall height and a low hip point of the 10th generation models and adopted a new “thin and light” design ethos, including a low bonnet and front fender, as well as a lower horizontal waistline.
There is a new front grille and different headlights. Other important design elements include sharp horizontal shoulders and a wider back with new taillights. The prototype also had a new color, Sun Glare Pearl.
While Honda has yet to show the interior drawings of the Civic prototype in 2023, it has released interior blueprints. It reveals a simpler and more elegant design than current cars, it includes a 9-inch infotainment system, a digital set of indicators and honeycomb accents to increase the width of the dashboard and hide the air vents.
Looking beyond design, Honda said the new Civic will introduce several new active and passive safety systems, such as an enhanced suite of Honda detection safety technologies and driver assistance systems, including a new airbag design. It also features a new version of Honda’s advanced bodywork architecture for compatibility engineering that improves impact protection for occupants and pedestrians.
2023 Honda Accord Interior
The interior of the 2023 Honda Accord is surprisingly spacious, and rear-seat passengers in particular will be more satisfied with the Accord than nearly any other midsize sedan. Honda means that most decisions about floor structure features are made without the driver’s options, but nearly every Accord has good interior furniture and at least some comfort.
Touring upper floors are fully decorated, with heated and cooled leather front seats, heated rear seats and a head-up display. However, the lower trim level has its own charm. Among them: Fabric upholstery and the attractive and comfortable Honda interior. Not only is the Accord’s cargo space of 17 cubic meters eclipsed by the second best car in its class, but the 2023 Honda Accord means that the components of the hybrid-electric drive don’t lose cargo space.
In our testing, we had two more bags folded over the regular rear seat of the 2023 Honda Accord than we’d fit in the closest competitor. Interior storage is a mid-range Accord, and internal storage features are very convenient or thoughtful, as is the case in this class – the Honda Civic or Hyundai Ioniq, for example. However, the agreement must meet the basic needs of most drivers.

All models come standard with an infotainment touchscreen and an 8.0-inch screen. Bluetooth and USB connectivity is also available on all devices such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions. We found the system to be fast, attractive and easy to use; Even low-tech people will find it intuitive. The Honda EX-L offers a premium audio system with 10 speakers and a 450-watt tweeter, but the lower strings have systems with four or eight speakers.
2023 Honda Accord engine
The lineup starts with a 192-horsepower 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, but our favorite is the 252-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, which sits at the top of the engine pyramid and features a 10-speed automatic transmission that works. In a semi-natural smooth manner. Both engines are agile drives, but the 2.0-liter engine provides a power flow that easily shifts the front tire to first gear.
Hybrid cars are also available and are powered by four-cylinder and two-cylinder electric motors. The Accord’s body is well arranged and encourages the driver to push the car hard through corners as it rolls slightly.
The steering is light, as with any car in this class, but we don’t mind if the feedback comes from the road. However, it is hard to complain about the helmet’s predictable accuracy. The Accord’s ride is tightly controlled but never difficult, balancing a sporty sedan with a practical family car.
2023 Honda Accord MPG
This latest 2023 Honda Accord combines a previous generation V-6 with a naturally occurring four-cylinder engine to support a pair of miniaturized quad-turbine engines, with overall positive results. Both engines showed excellent results in field tests of highway fuel consumption.
Our highway loops outperformed the EPA highway grade by offering a 2.0T Accord Touring 35 mpg with a 10-speed automatic. It was also tested with a 301hP V-6 at 29 MPG which is much better than the 2018 Camry.
2023 Honda Accord price and release date
With the six-speed manual transmission out of order in 2023, we will choose the Accord with the ten-speed automatic transmission, as the only other option is the continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) This allows us to take a look at the sportier model with an optional four-cylinder engine. 2.0 liter turbocharged.
Honda has confirmed that the 2023 Civic will be produced in North America, as the hatchback will be built at the company’s Greensburg plant in Indiana.
