2023 Cadillac XT6
The new three-row 2023 Cadillac XT6 will bring several refreshments according to the latest picks. First of all, we can expect a more attractive design and a lot of new technology inside. The US automaker is said to be introducing the new Super Cruise driver assistance system for the first time. This system includes a combination of visual cameras, LiDAR maps, GPS data, and radar sensors for automatic steering, acceleration and braking.
In addition, the Cadillac XT6 is available with a 237-hp turbocharged four-cylinder 2.0-liter engine or a 310-hp V6. Both units come with a nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
2023 Cadillac XT6 Facelift
In terms of design, the 2023 Cadillac XT6 will not change significantly compared to its predecessor. The front still has the same attractive shield-shaped grille, flanked by thinner LED headlights. As we have noted, the daytime running lights are placed vertically. Roof rails are standard and Sport-model buyers will get them in black.
Cadillac offers a few cosmetic kits on the outside of the rear, as well as new dual exhaust manifolds on the V6. The Radiant package is back and you can count on a bright chrome finish and 20-inch alloy wheels. New paints this year are Latte Metallic and Rosewood Metallic.
2023 Cadillac XT6 More luxury cabin
Inside, the 2023 Cadillac XT6 is very modern and offers great comfort. In the standard version, this seven-seater SUV is available. However, the optional captain’s seats in the second row lower that to six. Third-row legroom remains 29.5 inches, according to Cadillac, which is pretty good for the class.
Plus the second row offers 39.1 inches. With all rows folded, the XT6 measures 78.7 cubic feet. In the base Luxury trim, the XT6 includes a moonroof, keyless ignition/entry, remote start, 3-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, dipped rearview mirror, and heated/power-adjustable front seats with side memory Driver settings and 8-inch touch screen. Wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto smartphone integration is also standard.
2023 Cadillac XT6 Under the Hood
Under the hood of the 2023 Cadillac XT6 are two engine options. For 2023, the manufacturer used the same engines as before. This means we can expect another standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that produces 237 horsepower.
As an option, Cadillac offers a more powerful V6 engine capable of producing 310 horsepower. Both are equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Of course, you can also get all-wheel drive, but only as an option. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates the standard-four turbocharged engine with 21 mpg city and 27 mpg highway, while the V-6 is rated at 19 mpg city and 26 highway.
2023 Cadillac XT6 Release date and price
The new 2023 Cadillac XT6 is, as we mentioned, a luxury SUV that will bring many upgrades next year. We expect this model to hit the market in the summer after the debut of the XT5. As far as is known, the manufacturer will offer this model in Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport versions.
The Standard Edition has a great equipment package and costs just under $50,000. However, the price will increase significantly when choosing a sports model. The competition is fierce and the 2023 Cadillac XT6 is in the same league as the Lincoln Aviator, Volvo XC90, Genesis GV80, Acura MDX, Audi Q7, BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class.
