2023 Audi Q9 Rumors Redesign Reviews

2023 Audi Q9. The upcoming new full-size Audi Q9 2023 has lately been seen, and we have now obtained some renderings of the impending vehicle. Audi confirmed that this SUV will be the company’s next flagship, sitting between the current Q7 and the forthcoming Q8. Unlike the previous two SUVs, the new Audi Q9 has a sloping top that gives it a dynamic appearance. To be honest, the new headlamp designs and general form make it appear lot more appealing.
And as far as we know, the Audi Q9 will also have a more comfortable cabin than the sporty Q8. The model is rumored to use a modified version of the MQB platform, which is also the basis for VW Atlas. If true, it could be powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 235 horsepower and a 3.6-liter V6 capable of 276 horsepower.
2023 Audi Q9 Redesign
After a tumultuous week and the first spy shots of the upcoming 2023 Audi Q9, we take a look at our first renders. First of all, the upcoming full-size SUV could be a flagship model, given its design and proportions. Like we said, the Q9 will likely ride a modified MQB platform, which should bring a lot of benefits. In case you didn’t know, on the same platform is the VW Atlas SUV.
There is no doubt that the Q9 looks more attractive than any Audi car so far. We love the front, which has a large grille, attractive headlights with new graphics, and a hood with sporty stripes. Interestingly, there is also a rendering that shows the rear of this SUV. This reveals a clear rear end with new taillights that are very similar to those we saw on the latest Audi A7 sedan.
2023 Audi Q9 Interior Rumors
Audi has spent decades developing its reputation for quality interiors. Therefore, we can only imagine what the new Audi Q9 2023 will offer. As the brand’s flagship SUV, we’d assume it’ll offer a cabin no less sophisticated than the Q8. This model offers an attractive design, high-quality materials, and easy-to-use technology features.
For the infotainment system, the manufacturer uses several screens, the main of which is a 10.1-inch screen for mobile phone connectivity, navigation and audio. There is also a lower 8.6-inch screen, which is designed for climate control, as well as for handwriting commands. However, unlike the Q8 which comes with two rows of seats, the new Audi Q9 can offer 3 rows of seats up to seven.
2023 Audi Q9 Powertrain Specification
Like we said, the Audi Q9 2023 is an upcoming SUV that will likely ride on a modified MQB platform like the VW Atlas. Given that, you might as well borrow the same machine. This means we can expect a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 235 horsepower and a 3.6-liter V6 with 276 horsepower. Both engines are expected to be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
2023 Audi Q9 Release date
Reports say the new 2023 Audi Q9 will be available sometime next year. Unfortunately, at this point, we don’t have any information on whether this model will be sold in Europe or the United States. Also, there is no officially confirmed release date for this big crossover.
However, given the Q8 retails for $70,300, the next flagship is no less than 75,000. In the same ballpark are American luxury SUVs like the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator.

2023 Audi Q9 Update
The highly anticipated Audi Q9 2023 test was spotted recently, and we already got some spy shots. At first glance, this all-new SUV looks more aggressive than the Q8 it’s converting. The masked car is a pre-production model, and we still don’t know what will be changed or added to the final product. 2023 Audi Q9 Photos, Rumors and Pricing
As far as we know, the brand’s first full-size SUV will be based on the popular MQB architecture, which is also used by many Audi models, including the Q7 and Q8. The Audi Q9 is set to go on sale later in 2022 and will battle it out against the BMW X7.
Audi Q9. Spy Shot
The spy photo of the Audi Q9 2023 spy is on the internet right now, and it looks more interesting than any Audi SUV. Although some aspects of the design are not visible in the camouflaged model, the massive size of the Audi Q9 is clearly visible.
Compared to the Q7 and Q8, the new Q9 features a larger grille and checkered LED taillights at the rear. On the other hand, the manufacturer offers beautiful wheels that look a bit small. You can bet that once the sale starts, a much bigger alternative will be offered. Overall, we’d expect this SUV to have at least 23-inch wheels, similar to the RSQ8.
What About Powertrain Options?
For efficiency, the new Audi Q9 2023 will be equipped with a 3.0-liter gasoline engine. In addition, a V6 diesel engine will also be offered. However, high-performance models such as the SQ9 or RS Q9 will undoubtedly use a more powerful system with a turbocharger. Both models should carry a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 capable of producing more than 400 horsepower.
Work on an additional hybrid change is also underway, and we may prepare the Q9 to use the same powertrain as the Porsche Cayenne PHEV.
Internal Update
The interior of the highly anticipated Audi Q9 2023 remains a mystery, but we can expect high-quality materials and a variety of screen replacements. Audi’s upcoming flagship SUV will likely feature superior comfort and much more usable seating than the Q8. As mentioned earlier, it will be based on the MQB architecture, which will provide 3 rows of seats and space for 7 passengers. 2023 Audi Q9 Photos, Rumors and Price
Like the Audi Q8, there will likely be a giant infotainment system in the center of the dashboard and a large virtual cockpit. Other than that, we’d expect Android Auto and Apple CarPlay to be basic hardware, along with the latest security features.
Audi Q9 2023 Price, Release Date
According to current spy shots, the new Audi Q9 2023 will be a very impressive model. The three-row sports utility vehicle (SUV) will hit the market sometime next year, with supply due to end this year or early 2022. The prototype looks younger and more aggressive than its Q8 sister.
According to recent reports, it will be one of the most expensive Audi SUVs ever. It will start at $80,000 for the entry-level design and increase to nearly $150,000 for the high-performance model. As we said, the Q9 SUV will rival the popular BMW X7.

2023 Audi Q9 Rumor
It’s been a while since we first heard rumors of the Q9. This plate was registered as a trademark in 2013 but since then, we haven’t heard much from those responsible for the full size. Meanwhile, we’re seeing a range of new mid-size SUVs based on the VW Group’s MLB platform. However, things have changed and it looks like a full-size SUV may finally be coming. Recent reports suggest it will arrive at the end of this year, as the Audi Q9 2023.
However, not much is known about the new SUV. The test model was spotted wearing fully camouflaged clothing. However, the mechanical aspects of the car remain a mystery. While the MLB platform appears to be the perfect option, multiple reports indicate that the new model could use the MQB platform, indicating that Ingolstadt plans to introduce this SUV only in China.
However, this new model is currently in the testing phase, so we expect to know more about it in the near future. In the meantime, we can do nothing but speculate.
2023 Audi Q9 Design
As we just mentioned, the Audi Q9 2023 may be offered only for the Chinese market. This is interesting because China is a fairly specific market. Buyers love big cars but also prefer to pay less than buyers from other parts of the world. That is why many believe that the Audi Q9 2023 will come in a simpler package.
Quite simply, we mean different platforms. Normally, we’d expect to see him ride on the MLB platform, the same platform that powers midsize SUVs like the Q7 and Q8. However, many rumors say that the new SUV will use the MQB platform. If you’re familiar with this geometry, you know that it’s mostly used for smaller vehicles in the Volkswagen Group, which feature a transversely mounted engine and front-wheel drive design. However, this platform also supports one of Volkswagen’s largest vehicles, the Atlas. So, we wouldn’t be surprised if we see the Q9 share most of it with the full-size Volkswagen crossover.
Exterior Design
As mentioned earlier, test mules were spotted on the road. It’s still fully camouflaged, so we can talk about the style details. However, we assume she’ll share her aesthetic with other Audi models. It will come with the same design language, although the overall look is a bit boxy compared to the Q7. This is where we see the relationship with the Atlas, on the edge of the box not typical of an Audi crossover.
When it comes to dimensions, it’s hard to talk about exact numbers at this point. However, if we take into account the close relationship with the Atlas, the wheelbase could be the same, which means 117.3 inches between the wheels. However, if we consider that the Q7 has a wheelbase of 117.9 inches, we assume that the Atlas platform will stretch a little.
Outback
Whatever the platform, we believe the cabin will be designed in distinctive Audi style. In other words, we will be looking at a conservative style element set with a lot of technological features. This combination has worked well in the case of Audi so far, so we don’t see any reason why Ingolstadt would offer anything different.
Of course, the main thing in this model is the internal space. We didn’t expect more than three rows of seating, plenty of legroom and ample cargo space. It is possible that a more exclusive version will have a second-row captain’s seat, but that has not yet been confirmed.
Audi Q9 2023 Engine
Another important thing in the Audi Q9 2023 is the powertrain lineup. Using the MQB platform means the engines are tangentially mounted, which means there won’t be room for larger-capacity engines, such as the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that powers the Q7 and Q8. Instead, the base engine will be the popular 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder. We expect to see it in two production variants, with either 183 or 217 horsepower.
The North American Atlas is also available with a 3.6L VR6 engine, but that won’t be the case in China. The Atlas China, called the Teramont, comes with a 2.5-liter VR6 engine that also uses a turbocharger, so it’s no wonder that peak power comes out to be 299 horsepower. The same engine should also find its place under the hood of the Audi Q9 2023.
In terms of transmission, we expect all models to have a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
Audi Q9 Release Date 2023
According to the latest rumors, the Audi Q9 will arrive in 2023 at the end of this year. At this point, it’s too early to talk about prices.
