We have exciting news for all Nissan fans. From the information we have received, the 2022 Nissan Silvia S16 will be revived next year. The beauty of the S15 two-door was last introduced in 2002, and we think now is the time to launch the new 2022 Nissan Silvia S16. We recently got some new designs and promises of the sedan.

At first glance, we noticed it would get the latest design language from Nissan, including the most popular V-Motion grille. We also expect Nissan to offer some improved aerodynamic packages for its ardent enthusiasts. As for the engine, many think that Nissan will use some of the current engines, like a 3.0-liter V6, or a more fuel-efficient 1.8-liter would also make sense.

2022 Nissan Silvia S16 First Look

The exterior appearance of the 2022 Nissan Silvia S16 looks completely different and fresh. First of all, the design is futuristic and there is nothing more traditional to associate it with the previous model. It’s been more than 19 years since the S15 was introduced, so Nissan has to bring something new to grab buyers’ attention. The upcoming Silvia S16 therefore carries Nissan’s latest design language.

The two-door coupe body model comes with a recognizably large V-Motion grille, a feature common to Nissan’s latest models. The grille interior gets a black finish, paired with a black ‘Vee’ diffuser between the sleek headlights. Below we see a new fog light nestled in the air blade cavities. The new 2022 Nissan Silvia S16 rolls to the side and has front fenders and attractive 18-inch wheels. At the rear there is a noticeably lower diffuser and polished exhaust tips. We’re also expecting several improved aero packages that will add more visual hits.

2022 Nissan Silvia S16 Interior

The interior of the 2022 Nissan Silvia S16 will be inspired by the latest GT-R model, according to the latest report. However, we also think Nissan will tweak it a bit, making it more comfortable. Carbon fibre, brushed aluminum and Alcantara will undoubtedly be on the list of materials, while leather should be optional.

The gear interior will certainly be impressive, and we’d at least expect the configurable instrument clusters and an 8-inch touchscreen. This model may also come standard with heated front seats/side mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay smartphone integration and an 11-speaker Bose audio system.

2022 Nissan Silvia S16 engine predictions

At the moment, we have no idea what engine will be used under the hood of the 2022 Nissan Silvia S16. However, there is a good chance the S16 will adopt a four-cylinder engine from the Nissan Z.

The upcoming 2022 Nissan Z is said to have a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that generates 350 lb-ft (475 Nm). This engine comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, while an automatic transmission is also available, but only as an option. In addition to this engine, the manufacturer can also offer a more economical 1.8-liter engine.

2022 Nissan Silvia S16 Release date and price

The return of the new 2022 Nissan Silvia S16 is not officially confirmed yet. However, many popular websites believe that it will be released next year, with a completely different look. Like we said, some renderings are available, and we have to admit that the upcoming model looks futuristic.

Pricing for the new Silvia S16 hasn’t been revealed yet, but plenty of speculation suggests that the upcoming model could cost anywhere from $35,000 to $40,000.
