2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS the Review
The all-new 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS is an all-electric sedan that’s scheduled for release later this year. In fact, it is a more spacious model than the S-Class and it is also quieter. The EQS model comes with stunning digital grid and ultra futuristic style elements. The idea started with the Vision EQS concept, of course, so Mercedes will definitely offer a lot of exciting things.
However, translating the concept into the production version is not an easy task. Either way, it’s a luxury electric vehicle with great performance and an impressive package. The manufacturer takes inspiration for its design from the original concept. The first spy shots of a 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS show some exciting things. The design looks more conservative, with a smaller mesh and the waistline appearing more spacious. The rear section appears larger, so the production model is less imposing than the original concept.
Interestingly, Mercedes chose the regular B-pillars and side mirrors, something the concept did not show. In terms of architecture, Mercedes has chosen the EVA2 platform. The EQC and EQS crossover will use the same supports and all-wheel drive will be offered as standard.

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS will offer a very premium interior design. The German car manufacturer decided to provide a flat floor and a longer wheelbase. This makes the EQS more spacious than the S-Class. The floating center console is a must and there is a larger sunroof. Expect lots of high-quality materials and a lot of luxury.
Storage space is ample and EQS also provides trunk space at the front. In terms of technology, we don’t know what Mercedes is planning to offer. The manufacturer will undoubtedly offer many high-tech features, including the very latest in driver assistance systems.
2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS Range and acceleration
In terms of performance, the 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS would be very impressive. As mentioned, all-wheel drive is standard, but exact specifications are not yet available. Mercedes introduced the EQS concept with 469 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque, which is a lot for a sedan. According to Merck, the EQS model sprints from 0 to 100 km / h in about 4.1 seconds.
The platform is new and this architecture is said to provide an amazing level of comfort. The driving is as quiet as any other electric vehicle. In terms of range, this model delivers nearly 450 miles on a single charge. A 100 kWh battery pack is available which should produce more kilometers than Tesla. However, nothing is official yet.
2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS launch date and price
Production is about to start at the Mercedes plant in Germany. The 2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS will be the first model of the EQ sub-brand and will be sold in the United States. The price starts at around $ 95,000. There will be a few trim levels, so the loft trims will definitely cost more than $ 100K. Sales will start in the last quarter of 2021 or the first quarter of 2022.
