The upcoming 2022 Mazda 6 isn’t just a midsize sedan. This model is fun to drive and is powered by very powerful engines. Compared to competitors like Honda Accord and Toyota Camry, the Mazda 6 is a different class. Mazda introduces a beautiful Kodo design language that is unique to the market. Under the hood, the new 2022 Mazda 6 offers two engine options, including a 2.5-liter inline 4 or a 2.5-liter turbo inline 4. Both engines come with a six-speed automatic transmission and front engine as the sole configuration.

2022 Mazda 6 Luxurious and comfortable cabin
Despite many competitors in the mid-range segment, the 2022 Mazda 6 still has one of the best interiors in its class. The interior is clean and has many great materials and luxurious furnishings. In short, the Mazda 6 offers more comfort than any of its competitors. The front seats provide plenty of room and comfort, while the rear legroom provides 38.7 inches. The volume of the trunk is not entirely impressive at 14.7 cubic feet, but it can be increased by folding the rear seats.
In terms of equipment, the upcoming Mazda 6 uses a two-zone automatic climate control system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an 8-inch color touch screen, Bluetooth phone / audio, and smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay / Android Auto.

2022 Mazda 6 implements two powertrain options
Under the hood, the upcoming 2022 Mazda 6 uses the same engines as its predecessor. Sport and Touring models come with a 2.5-liter / 4-cylinder unit that generates 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. However, the most powerful is the inline 2.5-liter turbo engine available with the Grand Touring, Reserve and Signature models.
Unlike the first, this unit has a cylinder deactivation function to save fuel when there is no load. It also produces a higher output of 227 hp (or 250 hp with 93 octane). Both engines were equipped with a six-speed automatic gearbox and a front-wheel drive.
2022 Mazda 6 Price
The latest 2022 Mazda 6 looks stylish ever. This midsize sedan comes in the Kodo design language and is available with two different engines. Reportedly, the revamped sedan will arrive sometime this year, starting at more than $ 25,000 for the base model. However, the more expensive Mazda 6 Signature tops the range at $ 37,000.
Models like the Hyundai Sonata and Subaru Legacy are cheaper, while the basic Nissan Altima and Honda Accord are practically the same as the Mazda 6 Sport.
