2022 Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid

The new 2022 Lincoln Nautilus has finally happened. This stylish SUV was completely redesigned last year and is now roughly in line with the rest of the company’s lineup. You get a new dashboard with a larger, 13.2-inch infotainment screen, running the latest version of Ford Sync 4.

In addition to the regular model, the manufacturer also offers enthusiastic Black Label models that can now be ordered with two new interior themes, Chalet and Flight. However, for 2022, the only noticeable change to the exterior design will be a modified lower front bumper. In general, the new 2022 Lincoln Nautilus is mostly a carryover model. It uses the same two engines as its predecessors, and both come with a start / stop system.

The new 2022 Lincoln Nautilus is a luxury mid-size SUV that fits between the largest Aviator and the smallest Corseer in Lincoln’s lineup. It looks luxurious and competes with other SUVs in the same class, such as the Lexus RX and Cadillac XT5. Nautilus remains handsome on the outside and should receive some light upgrades compared to the previous model.

First of all, the front looks more attractive, with the large grille and full width chrome trim. This gives the car a wider and more muscular appearance. There are also some modifications to the lower front bumper, but nothing major. On the side, everything stays true, and the 2022 Lincoln Nautilus uses the same neat 20-inch wheels. However, if you jump to the Black Label version, buyers will get larger 21-inch wheels.

2022 Lincoln Nautilus Appearance

The cabin of the new 2022 Lincoln Nautilus features more beautiful materials than its predecessor. Moreover, it is still spacious, modern and just as luxurious. Buyers probably wouldn’t guess Nautilus shares the same platform with the Ford Edge. Interestingly, both vehicles are equally large. However, the Nautilus comes standard with a 12.3-inch digital screen and a large 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen.

Like the latest Ford models, the Nautilus uses the latest, easy-to-use Sync 4 infotainment software. It also offers more standard features including compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 11-speaker audio system, and an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot. Unfortunately, the mobility and wireless charging pad of smartphones come as standard in the Reserve and Black Label finishes.

2022 Lincoln Nautilus engine specifications

Like the previous version, the new will continue to use the same two engines. The base 2022 Lincoln Nautilus uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which produces 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Next is optional, a 2.7-liter twin-charging V6 that produces 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.

Both engines share the same eight-speed automatic transmission, and they are rated to tow up to 3,500 pounds. The Nautilus base, on the other hand, comes with a front-wheel-drive (FWD) model, while AWD is optional with the four-cylinder engine. Additionally, an all-wheel-drive V6 engine comes standard. It is interesting to note that both models are equipped with a start / stop system that turns off power at idle speed to save fuel.

2022 Lincoln Nautilus release date and price

The new 2022 Lincoln Nautilus will likely hit the market sometime in the year. In front-wheel-drive (FWD) form, this model costs just under $ 43,000, while AWD goes up to $ 44,500.

The Nautilus Black Label starts at $ 65,090. The Lincoln Nautilus is undercut by the Cadillac XT5 and Lexus RX by a few thousand dollars.
