2022 Kia Sportage the Review

The latest 2022 Kia Sportage is an affordable compact crossover that will be available for purchase later this year. The next-generation model will have an updated look and a good set of high-tech features. As before, the Sportage remains a comfortable two-row seat inside with plenty of space in the back for all your luggage.

In terms of performance, the next model will offer two engine options, including the proven 2.4-liter inline 4 engine that is standard, and the optional 2.0-liter turbocharged engine in the line 4, which delivers a whopping 240 horsepower.

2022 Kia Sportage Powertrain

This model has a significant drop in city / highway fuel economy: 20/28 mpg (FWD), 19/24 mpg (AWD). The six-speed automatic gearbox is the only option currently available on both models. As before, we can expect the same 2,000-pound towing speed.

However, this SUV is very affordable, costing less than $ 27,000 for the less expensive LX model. Moving to a model with more AWD SX Turbo gear, the price will go up to $ 38,000. The new SUV will debut sometime this year as the 2022 model.
