The upcoming 2022 Infiniti QX55 is coming to the market. Many people see this model as the QX50 variant, but with a sloping roof. The reality is a little different. The QX55 comes in a fastback pattern and looks very attractive. The design is inspired by the FX model released in 2003. In fact, the QX55 and QX50 share the same platform and even the same turbocharged engine.
However, the QX55 offers a standard all-wheel drive system and sporty wheels. The design is more aggressive and even the interior is a little better. Overall, this crossover SUV has a lot to offer, with sales starting in the second half of 2021.

2022 Infiniti QX55 Interior Details
The cabin looks elegant and modern. However, you can say that the 2022 Infiniti QX55 is really similar to the QX50 in terms of interior design. Infiniti clearly feels the premium interior does a great job, so there’s no need to add anything new. The QX55 SUV features beautiful padded leather upholstery, minimalist design and lots of premium gear.
The basic trim level offers faux leather seats, but you can also purchase optional leather upholstery. You will find many wood trimmings with open pores and carbon materials. The sloping roof line provides plenty of headroom, but the cargo area isn’t all that impressive. Technically speaking, the QX55 will arrive with a dual-screen infotainment setup and plenty of driver assistance systems.

The all-new 2022 Infiniti QX55 will use the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine as the QX50. It is a turbocharged VC engine that generates up to 268 horsepower. INFINITI offers a continuously variable automatic transmission and four-wheel drive system as standard. This is the main difference between the QX50 and QX55 models.

This crossover accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in around 6.2 seconds and is simply driving comfort. The sporty handling and his sporty personality seem, in our honest opinion, the perfect combination. Finally, fuel efficiency levels are not yet available. We know, however, that the QX50 with the same engine delivers 27 mpg on the highway.
2022 Infiniti QX55 release date and price
The 2022 Infiniti QX55 starts at $ 43,000. There will be three trim levels: Luxe, Essential and Sensory. The base version is available for $ 45,000 and the upstream Sensory Line for $ 51,000. This brand new crossover will hit dealers in the second half of 2021.
