2022 Infiniti Q50 the Reviews
If you’re looking for a solid-design sedan, check out the upcoming 2022 Infiniti Q50. This luxury/sport compact sedan has been restyled and comes with an impressive amount of standard equipment. Despite the outdated platform, the Q50 still kept pace with competitors such as the BMW 3 Series, Audi A4 and Lexus ES.
However, the Q50’s biggest feature is under the hood. This model is powered by two twin-turbocharged V6 engines. For those looking for ultimate performance, the Q50 Red Sport 400 is the best choice. According to Infiniti, all models will arrive later this year.
2022 Infiniti Q50 News
The upcoming 2022 Infiniti Q50 looks remarkably modern. In short, it is one of the unique sedans that you can find in this category. It is recognizable by its bold grille, LED headlights and fog lights. In addition, the Infiniti Q50 also comes with 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, while 19-inch alloy wheels are standard with the Red Sport model.
The sporty design is at the back. Overall, the manufacturer added more small LED taillights and dual chrome exhaust pipes. In general, the appearance is attractive, and the new 2022 Infiniti Q50 once again proved that its design is the main weapon to conquer the sedan segment.
2022 Infiniti Q50 Interior Upgrades
Not many competitors can match the luxury that the 2022 Infiniti Q50 offers. This SUV increases comfort every year and the manufacturer has now added more high-quality materials. Rear passenger space is spacious, too, and the Infiniti Q50 comes with 13.2 cubic feet of trunk space, which is roughly average. Like the previous generation, the new generation offers tremendous technology.
Entering the Pure Base model, you’ll first see a performance-themed dashboard and dual-screen center console. In general, even the base model comes with many standard features. Some of these features include keyless entry/ignition, leather upholstery, eight-way power front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, an 8-inch (top) and 7-inch (bottom) touchscreen infotainment system, two USB ports, and HD/radio Satellite, Apple CarPlay / Android Auto, Wi-Fi and Forward Collision Reduction.
2022 Infiniti Q50 Engine data
Under the hood, the 2022 Infiniti Q50 uses two twin-turbocharged V6 engines, delivering impressive performance. A 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 powering the Pure, Luxe, Sensory and Signature models produces 300 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. However, more power is available when you choose the Red Sport 400 model. Infiniti claims that with the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, the Red Sport 400 can deliver 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque.
As you can see, both engines are powerful and use a 7-speed automatic transmission with Sport mode. As before, rear-wheel drive (RWD) is the standard configuration, while all-wheel drive (AWD) is optional on all trim levels.
