2022 Genesis GV80 the Reviews
After the Genesis GV70 was recently confirmed, some photographers captured the upcoming 2022 Genesis GV80 luxury SUV in front of the camera. From what we can see, the next generation of SUV will be a model for transportation. This means that the same shape and size is maintained, while the bodywork has to make some minor adjustments.
Hyundai’s first premium SUV crossover, the GV80, offers an attractive and unique design and an extremely spacious cabin. This model has two rows and seating for five, although some versions offer seven seats via an optional small third row. The list of competitors is long and in the same category models such as BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, Lexus RX, Acura MDX and Lincoln Aviator.
2022 Genesis GV80 External Upgrades
The new 2022 Genesis GV80 spy photos reveal the same design we saw in the previous generation. This means we can expect minimal refreshment this time around. The previous model represents a new design and the new model will follow. The 2022 Genesis GV80 measures 194.7 inches in length, nearly identical to the Mercedes-Benz GLE and BMW X5 models.

First of all, among the many camouflages, the 2022 Genesis GV80 has the same distinctive elements as the current one. It comes with a stylish grille and a beautifully shaped dual LED light. Behind it, the new LED taillight looks great, and they have slats on each side. Overall, the design is unique and we can’t wait to see this model without disguise.
2022 Genesis GV80 More luxury cabin
Like the previous model, the new 2022 Genesis GV80 will feature the same design. First, this model comes in a 2-row and 5-passenger configuration, with an optional 3-row 7-passenger configuration. However, as on many third-row SUVs these days, the GV80 offers little room for luggage behind the seat.
Technically, the new model will likely keep the same standard package. This means that we can again expect the same 14.5-inch screen above the dashboard. Additionally, this unit also features a premium audio system with 12 speakers, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto integration and four USB ports. As for the upholstery, it ranges from faux leather to diamond-stitched nappa leather.

The 2022 Genesis GV80 security suite is impressive. This model includes Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Forward Collision Warning with Automatic Emergency Braking, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
2022 Genesis GV80 Powertrain rumors
There is currently no information available on the 2022 Genesis GV80 engine. However, the first generation is powered by a very powerful engine, and many believe that the upcoming model will continue to do the same. If proven accurate, the sec-gen GV80 will be powered by two engine options.
The first drivetrain under the base model is a 2.5-liter inline-turbocharged 4 that produces 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. Next is more powerful and consists of a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that delivers 375 horsepower and 391 pound-feet of torque. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
2022 Genesis GV80 Price
The upcoming 2022 Genesis GV80 will, in addition to minor refreshments on the outside, have some upgrades on the inside. This model offers a great package of luxury at an affordable price. The base model starts at $48,900, plus a $1,025 destination fee. However, the price will gradually rise, with the choice of the higher end. For example, the most equipped model, the Prestige, can easily fetch a price tag of $70,950.
