The 2022 Ford Fusion version gets a turbocharged 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, save for 325 hp, and traction on the four-wheel Fusion V6 Sport and Fusion power plug-in hybrid, now equipped with a range of electricity only to 25 electric miles, up 20 percent year-on-year the past.
Ford improved the Fusion variants a bit by replacing the SE Premium Package with SEL, which gives the car a luxurious touch with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, 10-way adjustable driver’s seat with memory settings and Smart Remote Start access. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capabilities is now standard on the titanium cladding and top.
That’s all part of a plan to cut $ 5 billion in planned spending between 2019 and 2022. It makes sense, but enthusiasts who have grown fond of hot Ford hatches like the Fiesta and Focus ST, the Focus RS won’t like this news.
