2022 Dodge Viper Design
New renderings reveal a very futuristic design for the upcoming 2022 Dodge Viper. In general, this model is unlike any other sports car. It has the bold look and lines of the Ford GT. As before, the Viper will use the same space frame with independent suspension front and rear. There is also a long hood, with a large U-shaped hatch for additional engine cooling.

2022 Dodge Viper publishes a new V8 engine
That being said, there will be some drastic changes under the hood of the 2022 Dodge Viper. First of all, the powerful 8.4-liter V10 was replaced by a lighter V8. However, according to many experts, a smaller engine will not be sacrificed in terms of power. This means that it should continue to produce the same 550 horsepower as the larger.
This engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission that sends power through rear-wheel drive only. Other rumors suggest that the next Dodge Viper may have the same engine as the Charger SRT Hellcat. If it does, expect at least 800 horsepower from a supercharged V8.
2022 Dodge Viper Release date and price
In general, we don’t expect to see the new 2022 Dodge Viper on the road until 2022. Many believe that this sports car will hit the market at the end of this year, while sales may begin in the first quarter of the following quarter.
Dropping the V10 and replacing it with a new V8 could have a huge impact on the base price. According to some rumors, the price of the new 2022 Viper could start at less than 120 thousand dollars.
