2022 Dodge Barracuda New Review
The return of the most powerful American car, the 2022 Dodge Barracuda, could happen after all. If you didn’t know, Chrysler initially produced the Barracuda model between 1964 and 1974. At that time, this model instantly gained fame and held a special place in the hearts of classic car enthusiasts.
Overall, we can’t wait to see how Dodge will deal with other models in the same segment and what the new models will offer to attract buyers. However, several reports indicate that a new two-door muscle car is on the way and we can expect some great styling. We’ve already heard some information, so here’s everything we know about this amazing car.
2023 Dodge Barracuda Exterior
2022 Dodge Barracuda concept renders available and reveals a new design. Interestingly, the new generation looks different from the previous ones. However, the dimensions are the same, which makes the design very compact. Plus, as with the Challenge model, the aerodynamics are excellent which means great airflow at higher speeds.
The suspension will likely be similar to the rear axle setup we saw on the Challenger. However, the build quality will definitely be much better with more aluminum materials present resulting in a lighter chassis. In addition, expect a huge selection of colors and paints such as Red Vulcano, Purple, White, Black, Yellow and Green.

2022 Dodge Barracuda Cabin Features
Inside, we expect the new 2022 Dodge Barracuda to borrow many elements from the popular Challenge model. This means lots of high-quality materials and the same seat design. However, on the technology side, we don’t expect big differences from the Challenger.
The Barracuda will reportedly use the same 8.4-inch infotainment system that supports the latest Android Auto and Apple CarPlay phone integration. Other features likely to be available as standard include new satellite navigation, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, electronic stability control, traction control, blind spot monitoring and cross-traffic alert. We also expect several security packages to be offered as an option.
2023 Dodge Barracuda Engine Rumors
The entry-level 2022 Dodge Barracuda will likely use some of the current engines. The first candidate is a popular 3.6L V6 that also runs on the Challenger. This unit produces 303 horsepower and 268 pound-feet of torque.
In addition to this engine, we also expect a supercharged V8. Under the hood of the SRT Super Stock, this engine produces an impressive 807 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, we also expect at least one hybrid powertrain to provide excellent efficiency. In the coming months, the manufacturer is likely to announce official figures.

2022 Dodge Barracuda Release date and price
We’re still waiting for the official statement from Dodge about the return of the Barracuda. Several reports indicate that we can expect this excellent car sometime next year. In the opinion of some experts, the base model starts at around $28,000. This is very affordable considering what this model offers.
Of course, the price will go up with the choice of more optional equipment and engines. In the same league as the Dodge Barracuda 2023, there are very strong competitors such as the Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang.
