The two-seater convertible roadster, the 2022 BMW Z4, is said to have a sporty design. We love the previous generation, but the new generation is going to be a game changer from what we’ve heard. 2022 BMW Z4 Powertrain Specifications
The base 2022 BMW Z4 should use the latest report 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine that produces about 255 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. This bike delivers excellent performance as you can see, and you will not get bored behind the wheel for sure.
However, the manufacturer is offering a powerful M40i model for other enthusiasts with an inline-six turbocharger that delivers 382 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Both engines come with rear wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission. The manual gearbox is unfortunately not available.

2022 BMW Z4 Release date and price
The release date of the new 2022 BMW Z4 is set for the following year. Most likely, the manufacturer will present this year, while sales may begin in the first quarter of next year. As mentioned, some concept images are available and the new car looks better than ever.
The current sDrive30i has a starting MSRP of $49,900, while the more powerful M40i model costs $63,700. As you can see, the base price of the 30i is higher than the Toyota Supra and the fully loaded Mazda MX-5 Miata. However, it’s still under the Porsche 718 Boxster and upcoming RX-9.
