The 2021 VW T-Cross is already set to launch nationally, it’s April and May! To satisfy the curiosity by then, we have prepared a review with all the details about the elements of the series, mechanization, technical specifications and even the possible pricing of the 2021 VW T-Cross.

With very sporty streaks, the 2021 model is betting on aggression visually narrated to influence the market with this release, after which we’ll see more of the model.

The 2021 VW T-Cross is equipped with redesigned LED daytime running lights and grille. The Volkswagen SUV will be developed by the base MQB and thus will also bring the very powerful C car, as it is the characteristics of the car manufacturer. In addition, the bumper has chrome elements that connect and emulate the tailpipes.

This prototype T-Cross is completely camouflaged in high test in some European mountain ranges (and more recently in the Nürburgring) and shows some similarities with the concept. However, the exterior appears quieter than the show car, making the car more like a small version of the Tiguan. Up front, headlamps that are similar in design to those of the Tiguan are displayed alongside a grille with three side panels elsewhere, the simple front and rear parts differ noticeably, although the black and white camouflage hides important factors at the rear.

If you are amazed at Volkswagen’s current SUV rating system, then you are one of many. The German crossover brand introduced the cool T-Roc at the end of next year as a bigger choice for the 2021 VW T-Cross. Being Volkswagen’s smallest SUV, the new T-Cross will be placed between the Seat Arona and the T-Roc in terms of cost. Judging by the spy shots, the upcoming T-Cross will be embracing a tougher style than T-Roc, but we might be wrong once the covers pop (or maybe not). It’s unclear what engines the 2021 VW T-Cross will come with, but we wouldn’t be surprised if we did find some T-Roc engines. This could be, for example, 187 hp 2.0-liter TSI, 147-hp 2.0-liter TDI, 147-hp 1.5-liter TSI, 113-hp 1.6 TDI and 187-hp 2.0 TDI.

The main suppliers of the group, however, are expected to be powered by Volkswagen’s 3-liter turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline engine, which will be offered in a variety of configurations. Never expect electric versions as the T-Cross will be the budget pick in VW’s SUV lineup. A dual-clutch transmission and a six-speed manual transmission are also expected. Unfortunately for the few potential T-Cross users preparing to purchase the vehicle off-road, they will be disappointed to learn that front-wheel drive is the only configuration. The basis for the 2021 VW T-Cross will be exactly the same MQB platform as the Polo.

Inside, the upcoming 2021 VW T-Cross is almost certain to reveal most of its interior with T-Roc and Polo, meaning a large, previously placed infotainment screen called the main air vents on the dashboard. It remains to be seen if Volkswagen will present the T-Cross with the same brightly colored accessories as the T-Roc, as the two models seem to be very close to comfort, at least in the crowded European market. Last April, Volkswagen announced that it would develop a T-Cross SUV in southern Brazil at the plant in São Jose dos Binhies. At launch, the Volkswagen T-Cross will compete with fans of the 2008 Nissan Juke and Peugeot.
